Sasol Germany is an
important part of Sasol's chemical businesses and forms part of the Sasol
Olefins& Surfactans business. Sasol Germany produces surfactants and
surfactant intermediates such as alcohols and ethylene oxide, as well as
inorganic speciality chemicals including high-purity aluminas and
oleochemicals. The chemicals processing industries uses these products in the
manufacture, among others, of additives for plastics, catalysts, cosmetics,
detergents, and high performance abrasives. We work closely with customers, adapting products in line with the latest
research and market developments. With a workforce of 1,500 employees, we generate annual sales of
about € 1 billion. Three production sites located in Brunsbüttel, Marl, and Witten form part
of the company, in addition to our headoffice in Hamburg.
Sasol Germany forms
part of the Sasol Olefins & Surfactants (O&S) Division. Businesses are
positioned globally, with production sites located e.g. in Germany (Sasol Germany),
Italy (Sasol Italy), the U.S.
(Sasol North America), and China
