Airbus retains the services of SynerDeal.

Airbus, the European aircraft manufacturer, today announced that it has decided to retain the services of SynerDeal to contribute to the realisation of its ambitious merger integration cost reduction program.

The frame-agreement, signed on the 21st of June, is covering services designed to bring measurable purchase cost reductions ranging from data collection, demand aggregation and rationalization, eSourcing, RFQ strategy, evaluation of suppliers offers to reverse auctions.

"During a series of initial pilot missions, SynerDeal has demonstrated to us that its combination of purchasing know-how, methodology and Internet technology brings tangible bottom line results for Airbus" said Ray Wilson Executive Vice President Procurement at Airbus.

In addition to this frame agreement, Airbus has recently mandated SynerDeal to launch a series of important and complex purchasing projects, involving several industrial locations in Germany, France, United Kingdom and Spain.
