AMS decided for the Trade2B R5 Sourcing Solution and the Trade2B Buyer Cockpit.
AMS Sourcing B.V. recently launched the first usage of Trade2B web-based sourcing solutions.


Being one of the biggest European retail buying groups, AMS sources Private Label items in the areas of Perishables, Dry Groceries and Non-Food. By pooling the volume and know-how, AMS is able to create synergies for its retail members.
The increasing joint buying volume and the growing complexity of multi-company and multi-specs, yields the need for a supporting leading edge web-based sourcing tool.
After in depth analyses, AMS selected together with CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation) and LogicaCMG the Trade2B R5 Sourcing solution and the Trade2B Buyer Cockpit. These tools provide best in class functionalities and system flexibility. Besides Trade2B, AMS chose CSC as implementation partner due to its profound know-how for implementation projects with Trade2B. CSC and Trade2B conducted the implementation, training, and roll-out within the anticipated project time.
Trade2B R5 facilitates and accelerates all sourcing processes and supports purchasing decisions with in depth analyses and flexible reports. The Trade2B Buyer Cockpit provides continuous KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and enables and facilitates among others functionalities internal sourcing project management.
Thanks to the joint forces of AMS, CSC and Trade2B, the project runs successfully and the first GO LIVE was launched recently.
