Trade2B implements E-Sourcing Software at Magna Steyr - Industry News, www.industrienet.de
MAGNA STEYR acquired 100 licenses for the Enterprise Sourcing Software R5 of the Trade2B.com AG, Munich. After the implementation of the software the purchasing department of MAGNA STEYR automotive engineering will electronically perform requests for information, requests for quotation and auctions by Enterprise Sourcing Software Trade2B R5.
In the year 2003 all requirements were fulfilled for a doubling of the production from 90,000 cars (2002) per year by now to 200,000 cars per year in future. Because of this rapid growth the purchasing processes had to be ameliorated. In addition, it was of importance to master three launches of series production of three different car types for three different clients: Mercedes Benz E-Class or rather E-Class 4MATIC, the Saab 9-3 cabriolet and the BMW X3.
Trade2B and the Enterprise Sourcing Software R5 turned out to be the ultimate partner for the planned eSourcing-activities of Magna Steyr after an almost one-year phase of pilot and evaluation.

Trade2B AG Munich proudly presents the 5th release of its Enterprise Sourcing solution, an advent in technology. Supplier researches, requests for quotations and price negotiations (auctions) can be realized in an unprecedented maturity and operator convenience. The edited version contains for example a flexible formula editor: Forms for requests for quotation can be freely defined in graphics, design and colours in a Power Point-like interface. Every company, and even every department, can customize and freely design the individual forms for their sourcing solution. Legacy standards of requests for quotation can therefore be easily brought forward into the electronic era.

The 5th release of Trade2B's Enterprise Sourcing solution enables an electronic supplier research, as well as requests for quotations and price negotiations (auctions) that can be realized in an unprecedented maturity and operator convenience. The edited version contains for example a flexible formula editor: Forms for requests for quotation can be freely defined in graphics, design and colours in a Power Point-like interface.
One further improvement of Trade2B R5 is the explorer-like administration of specifications sheets. Trade2B R5 can handle very complex requests for quotation with more than 50,000 calculation positions and elements. Thanks to the explorer-like construction of the detailed estimate with folders, sub folders and different hierarchical levels, navigation is very lucid. Thus the Trade2B solution is not only convenient for indirect demands, but is also perfect for project business and direct production material. The field selection within the reports can be customized freely by the user.

Trade2B strives for € 4 billion transaction volume - _procure Newsletter number 74
Trade2B, software solutions for electronic procurement specialist, strives to reach the € 4 billion transaction volume this year. This is realistic goal if the previous growth rate can be maintained. In May the company announced the € 3 billion purchasing volume target was reached after a € 65 million auction. Having reached the € 2 billion transaction volume only in 2002, Trade2B is very proud that another transaction billion could be reached in such a short period of time.
The growth rate is the result of completed projects for many different industries. Nearly everything has been purchased and renegotiated: from power cables for a telecommunication enterprise to telephone tariffs. Trade2B's sourcing solutions are praised as both very flexible and adaptable covering the total purchasing requirements of a company, from the strategic solution that is Trade2B SES Sourcing Excellence Suite, through the negotiation by means of Trade2B R4 to supply chain Management via Trade2B SCM software.

Trade2B rises above €3 billion - Web + Tech News
Trade2B, Software design firm and B2B auction organizer, surmounted €3 billion in transaction volume.
The specialist for electronic purchasing solutions reached this amount thanks to a €65 million auction for computer hardware.
Trade2B was founded by 4 former McKinsey consultants.

From its own source, Trade2B, specialist of ePurchasing software solutions has closed out profitably for the first term of 2003 for the third consecutive term.
Staff increased 15% (now up to 60 employees). Trade2B counts Spar and Intersport Austria and a few car manufacturers among its customers.
