Following a successful merger, SynerTrade predicts stronger than market growth rates for 2006

Created from the June 2005 merger of SynerDeal, the leading French Purchasing Agency, and Trade2B, Germany’s leader in software applications for strategic purchasing, SynerTrade is now the first European consolidation in the ePurchasing industry. Thanks to the launch of its new software suite, 2006 sees SynerTrade focus on stronger than market organic growth with the acquisition of new clients.

The introduction of a new software product in less than six months.
Scarcely 6 months after the merger, SynerTrade is launching the SynerTrade 6 software suite, the result of the synergy of the R&D teams of SynerDeal and Trade2B which has enabled the creation of the most comprehensive product on the European ePurchasing market.
This new product, split into 4 main categories (Sourcing, Procurement, Suppliers Monitoring and Spend Monitoring), allows performance enhancement of the Purchasing Function through the improvement of the buyer’s productivity and efficiency in the Sourcing phases, by facilitating Procurement and through optimization of supplier management and spend monitoring.
The SynerTrade 6 product is being currently piloted by five SynerTrade clients.

In its consulting activities, SynerTrade has broadened its scope of services:

• To rapidly increase company margins and competitiveness,
• To enhance the performance of the Purchasing Function,
• To manage the Purchasing Function.

Stronger than market organic growth
With 80 customers worldwide including 20 “Fortune 1000” companies, SynerTrade predicts stronger than market growth for 2006, between 5 and 8%, aiming to increase its number of clients by 40% (major accounts and SMEs).
Indeed, a limited number of companies currently use an eSourcing solution and out of 100 large companies with turnover of more than two billion Euros, over 40% still do not have one.
Reinforcement of commercial teams to supplement growth
SynerTrade currently employs a team of 100 people, 40 of whom are dedicated to R&D, based in France, Germany, UK, Romania, USA and China. In order to give support to their growth prospects, SynerTrade is strengthening its commercial teams in France as well as in Germany with the confirmed recruitment of six colleagues.
