The SynerTools User Club is aimed at all companies using SynerDeal’s eSourcing technology.
This initiative stems from the hopes voiced by clients spanning a wide range of company sizes, cultures and business sectors, to share deployment experiences and apply best practices. Change management and gain gauging are two of the issues this group will address.
This club will also be establishing the guidelines for future SynerTools upgrades, encompassing purchasing-performance measurements, supplier assessments and document management.
Members – which include ALSTOM, Champagne Louis Roederer, Faurecia, Rieter Automotive Systems, RTE, Sanofi-Synthélabo, Sirona and other high-ranking European firms – will meet every three months.
SynerTools spans purchasing operations from beginning to end – from pinpointing requirements to the final decision. This resource-pooling platform enables purchasing departments to compile and streamline their various purchasing requirements upstream, and intensifies potential-supplier competition downstream.
SynerDeal provides SynerTools users with full hands-on coaching through the first projects, allowing them to quickly manage their own projects effectively and independently .
The ranks of SynerTools platform users grew a healthy 150% in 2003 compared to 2002. Today, 3,800 purchasing officers and 21,400 suppliers have used the various SynerTools platforms managed by SynerDeal clients, and conducted a total of 1,450 eSourcing consultations.
