January 31, 2006 - SynerTrade announces SynerTrade 6, a brand new software suite entirely modular
Born from the merger of SynerDeal and Trade2B, SynerTrade made the most of the experience and the technological know-how of this union to create SynerTrade 6, a brand new modular software suite. Thanks to its new features, SynerTrade 6 is the most exhaustive solution of the European ePurchasing market.
SynerTrade 6 is an innovative suite made of 10 modules gathered under four main topics: Sourcing (Purchasing decision), Procurement, Suppliers Monitoring (optimization of the management of suppliers) and Spend Monitoring (Spend Control).
In addition to be a complete modular solution, SynerTrade 6 provides new strategic and innovative features for the company and in particular Cockpit, the ultimate tool for managing the purchasing process and SynerTrade 6 Supplier System Management to manage the supplier’s panel and to measure the evolution of its performance. The 10 modules allow companies to answer 3 issues: the cost reduction, the improvement of productivity and a better reporting of the actions.
A software suite made of 10 modules gathered under four main topics:
- Sourcing is a software suite to organize, streamline and automate the calls for tenders management, from requirement fine-tuning to final supplier selection, including the automated value chain and bids analysis:
ST6 SynerTools eRFx facilitates: creation of teamwork zones to glean the requirements of each purchasing project from all departments (Purchasing, Quality, R&D…), advanced search in the supplier database, automated collection and consolidation of bids, structuring of supplier bids. ST6 SynerTools eAuctions enables negotiation via electronic auctions. It ensures that buyers obtain the best price of the market according to the quality criteria required and guarantees the equal treatment and the transparency of the procedures. ST6 Analysis and Optimization allows purchasing teams to make the most of their negotiations by offering the most suitable negotiating strategies according to a selection of criteria (price, quality, logistics, etc...). This solution also provides a decision-making system which calculates the ideal scenario according to constraints' that the buyer will have pre-defined. The analysis of the suppliers’ bids brings a significant saving of time thanks to the analysis and the pre-defined criteria. ST6 Value Chain Analysis (VCA) Based on a Redesign to Cost program, ST6 VCA assists buyers understand the cost structure of the suppliers’ bids and develop new innovative value chain concepts jointly with suppliers. The price of each stage closed with a supplier and the subcontractors (transport, packaging…) is reported on the site. This system makes it possible to formalize and increase the visibility of the chain of the costs, stage by stage, and to improve its concept to optimize and reduce the costs of the suppliers.
- Procurement is a module to optimize costs and deadlines of the procurement process:
ST6 Ordering and Supply Chain Management (SCM) structures the procurement process, provides complete control and follow-up of orders throughout the supply chain and gives a full transparency on the supply chain. The buyers can thus easily obtain information about their current orders.
- Suppliers Monitoring is a set of innovative solutions to benchmark suppliers, measure their performance and manage negotiated contracts.
ST6 Supplier Management System (SMS) is an integrated tool for managing the suppliers panel and measuring their performance. This database makes it possible to have information on the suppliers (products, costs…) and assess, thanks to a grid of scoring, the services of various suppliers. ST6 Contract Management enables optimal management of on-line and off-line agreements. This module helps buyers to manage the contracts thanks to a workflow system and a complete contract expiration reminder management.
- Spend Monitoring offers a wide range of software solutions to analyze company’s spends managed through heterogeneous IT systems and have a global view of purchasing within the organization.
ST6 Cockpit is a transversal solution offering a global view on the entire purchasing process. It gives a direct access to all purchasing department applications: eRFx, auctions, ERP, catalogues, contract management. ST6 Spend Analysis (SES) facilitates the collection, gathering and cleaning of data for the analysis and the follow-up of the global spends of the company. SynerTrade 6 is available in ASP mode and can be quickly integrated with standards ERP and other purchasing solutions thanks to the Plug-in-ERP. It is backed by a full set of services including: technical integration, customer support and a deployment program. The deployment period depends on the number of modules used. In a basic configuration in ASP, SynerTrade 6 can be technically deployed in 4 weeks. The cost of the solution depends on the number of users and the number of modules.
