SynerTrade 6 Supplier Management System (SMS) allows management of a suppliers panel and performance tracking, through analysis of information essential for a quick sourcing decision. This module enables perfect purchasing portfolio risk management thanks to an in-depth knowledge of the suppliers panel.

SUPPLIER DATABASE ADMINISTRATION
Supplier Management System enables:
- Consolidation of multiple databases into one,
- Enrichment of the new database with financial information and data regarding each supplier’s certificates, as well as any other information gathered from questionnaires totally customised by the buyer and completed by suppliers,
- One-click access to an overview of all supplier information such as address, commodities, supplier trade history, contracts, ongoing negotiations etc…,
- Supplier search based on information gathered.
SUPPLIER ASSESSMENT
Thanks to the Supplier Management System module, it is possible to:
- Create multiple, commodity-specific questionnaires via the questionnaire editor. A large number of fields is available (text, numerical, list, checkboxes etc…) as well as automatic follow-up of responses,
- Define key performance indicators for quality, logistics, technology, costs etc… SynerTrade’s purchasing experts aim to assist companies in defining these indicators.
- Carry out global or local supplier assessments (and periodic re-assessments), ad hoc assessments or evaluations triggered by external events (for example following a call for tender, supplier monitoring or contract renegotiation).
SUPPLIER ANALYSIS
Various graphical analysis tools (curves, histograms, bar charts, pie charts, spider charts etc…) are available in the graph editor of the Supplier Management System module.
A customisable, easy-to-use reports editor allows creation of tables based on different criteria (suppliers, KPIs, items, business units, questionnaires etc…). The results can be compared to relevant scoring information gathered in the context of supplier evaluation.
Supplier Management System offers the opportunity to compare suppliers to strategic benchmarks and to track supplier performance over time. Based on objective comparable analysis, thanks to a transparent standardized approach, it also allows identification of supplier potential to be realized.
SUPPLIERS PORTFOLIO
Supplier Management System enables the creation of portfolios of strategic suppliers and their financial data and assists in development of strategies to build up these portfolios.
SUPPLIER MEASURE PLANNING
This feature allows the planning of improvement measures in areas of supplier weakness as well as improvement tracking and scheduling of supplier re-evaluations.
SUPPLIER INTEGRATION
Suppliers can update data (financial or related to certificates) by registering on the supplier portal. The buyer can thus share data, measures and scoring with registered suppliers.
Supplier Management System is one of the ten functionalities of the new software suite, SynerTrade 6, and one of the modules of the “Suppliers Monitoring” function.
