The Vaillant Group announces the establishment of a global network, supported by SynerTrade’s eSourcing application, specifically the eRFx module, to combine the purchasing for all of its company divisions. The group aims to become the benchmark for purchasing performance through its use of eSourcing.
The Vaillant Group has two main objectives:
- optimization of purchasing processes within the network: efficient research and follow-up of suppliers, consultations and electronic calls for tender,
- standardization of purchasing processes.
“We hope to enhance the efficiency of the Purchasing Function of the whole group and to strengthen the relationship with preferred suppliers”, explains Michael Scholz, eProcurement Director of the Vaillant group.
To achieve these objectives, the Vaillant group chose to create a shared portal for buyers and their suppliers, based on eSourcing.
After intense competition between several providers, the Vaillant Group selected SynerTrade. “We chose SynerTrade’s eSourcing application for its quality and its flexibility to adapt perfectly to our specific needs”, explains Michael Scholz.
Launched at the end of 2005 in Germany, France and the UK, the deployment of SynerTrade’s eSourcing platform, available in ASP mode, will extend to other geographical areas in the coming months.
