The worldwide known producer of medical diagnostics decided after intensive research to make a contract about electronic purchasing solutions with Trade2B (www.trade2b.de). This co-operation opens the access to one of the most professional purchasing solutions, which illustrate the entire process (supplier management, advertisements and auctions) of Roche DIAGNOSTICS. Thereby the company strengthens its reputation as a very innovative company in a difficult market. The reasons for the implementation of an electronic purchasing system from Trade2B are:
“The continuous reduction of purchasing prices with normal purchasing methods is limited. In regard to Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) are the cost reductions of the purchasing process with efficient and quick solutions inevitable. At the beginning Roche will probably use mainly the auction solution of Trade2B. If that is successful, Roche will implement the sourcing solution completely. These functions enable the web-based search, selection and assessment of the suppliers, the execution of the technical specifications in the context of quotations and the final negotiation on an integrated platform.
Roche uses thereby all aspects of purchasing: lower purchasing prices and savings in process times and costs are expected. Also other possibilities of the Trade2B software over the purchase areas away, are to be used intensively.

Trade2B defines ERP – Enterprise Relationship Management

Trade2B, founded in February 2000 as a start up company, presents its complete ERM-Suite at the IT fair Systems, comprising modules for Sourcing & Supplier Relationship Management, Sourcing Excellence and Supply Chain Event Management Based on the single modules, which are already implemented at BMW, MAN and Siemens, more customised solutions will be realised.
