Trade2B, a leading provider of purchasing software solutions, loses one of its founders to academia, where he will devote himself to the education of his students. Dr. Oliver Lüth created Trade2B in early 2000 with Dr. Eberhard Aust, Wolfe Diener and Peter Engelhardt.
Trade2B develops efficient purchasing solutions, which increase negotiation transparency and save cost and time. Trade2B employs almost 60 people and has been profitable for the last 3 quarters, enjoying a 20% growth rate for the last 6 months.
“The departure of Dr. Lüth has been anticipated for some time. Trade2B.com AG has made careful preparations to ensure the optimal fidelity of our clients and guarantee uninterrupted and successful development”, said Dr. Eberhard Aust. Mr Lüth was responsible for the Consulting Service division of the company, which is now the responsibility of another co-founder, Peter Engelhardt.
On May 1st, Dr. Lüth assumes his duties as Professor of Business Management at the University of Applied Sciences, Stralsund, a small town on the cost of the Baltic Sea. The company thanks Mr. Lüth for his significant contributions to the origin of Trade2B. Oliver Lüth remains at the disposal of the firm as a consultant.
